Mumbai University, Mumbai Placements

Mumbai University is a public state university in Mumbai and is one of the oldest universities in India along with the University of Calcutta and the University of Madras. The University of Mumbai was accredited with a grade of ‘A++’ by the National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC). MU has a dedicated placement cell that handles the recruitment activities of the university. The cell invites various companies from different sectors every year. It conducts training activities for the students which helps them develop their skills and be prepared for the placement rounds. 

Mumbai University had a total of 113 companies visiting them during the placements in 2023. The highest and average for the MMS and M.Sc Finance placement 2023 was INR 4.50 LPA and INR 15.0 LPA respectively. There was a rise of 25% in the PG 2-year placement in 2022 when compared to 2021. For the UG 3-Year program, there was a rise of over 7% in 2022 when compared to 2021.  Some of the top recruiters for MU were Google, Microsoft, Reliance Jio, and more.
