There is a placement cell for each of the university's departments to handle student placement. The University of Calicut's placement office makes sure students don't have any trouble getting jobs. For this reason, they keep in touch with businesses and also invite them to the placements at Calicut University. The CU placement cell organizes seminars, workshops, and industrial visits to increase students' confidence. Calicut University provides its students with internship opportunities in addition to placements so they can experience how the business world functions.
