The Thapar University Placement 2024 Report has not yet been released. It will be rationalized here once released. According to NIRF Overall Report 2024, the median package offered to a UG & PG student at Thapar stands at INR 11.89 LPA and INR 7.20 LPA, correspondingly. Further, as per the latest statistics available on the official website, a total of 334 recruiters have participated in the placement drive and have made a total of 1,884 placement offers to the students. Among these offers, 1,664 students received single offers, and 110 students received numerous offers. A total of 1,774 students have been placed so far in Thapar University Placements 2023. Thapar University Center for Industrial Liasion & Placement (CILP) assembles campus interviews for the placements of the final year students of all branches by inviting various public and private sector organizations.
Overview
Thapar University has a dedicated placement cell like top universities and colleges. The cell has the necessary infrastructure and highly qualified teachers. All BE engineering students will spend a complete six-month semester working on an industrial project in the field under the supervision of industry supervisors and TIETU instructors. Similar to how MCA students complete a sixteen-week System Development Project (SDP), M.Sc. students train for six weeks over the summer, and MBA students train for two months in the workplace. This offers an educational system that formally combines academic study with relevant practical experience. More than 150 industries gave our students project slots and training, and CILP helps set up project semester slots for different engineering areas. ME/M.Tech students

Placement: Thapar has very good placement statistics with many top companies visiting the campus. The overall placement percentage stood up at 96% with top pacakages going upto 40 lakhs. the average pakage offered is 6 lakhs.
