Sunrise University commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2011. The university is in Alwar, Rajasthan. The University has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Sunrise University was established with the approval the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is a private university that aims to impart knowledge to different sections of the society.

The university basically offers programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. It also offers programs at the Doctorate level.
