Majors of Shiv Nadar University
The university houses various Centers and Institutes. These centers and institutes are built to set various trends in terms of ideas that are not immaterial but realizable across the board. They strive hard to perform as training units to work on the broader substantive units using various inter and multi-disciplinary approaches.
Atal Incubation Center was built with the support of Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog. With the increasing growth of budding entrepreneurship, there is a need to support developing start up eco systems in India.
Big Data Analytics Center is another name in the list of institutes the university houses. The center has been established under the aegis of School of Natural Sciences (SoNS). The data is primarily analyzed, managed, and is used to extract hidden knowledge from it.
Center for Environmental Sciences & Engineering is an integrative and associative center which focuses on research, education, and outreach in Engineering, and Sustainability. CESE conducts various programs and activities which are designed to address the requirements current environment.
Center for Informatics conducts various research based on information, information processing, and the study of structures. Besides, algorithms, behavior, and interactions of natural and artificial systems. The informatics research core in further divided into Molecular Informatics and Network Informatics.
Center for Public Affairs and Critical Theory also referred to as C-PACT, is one of the most important aspects of Shiv Nadar University. The team of C-PACT is consistently working and researching through a deep engagement.

Admission to Undergraduate Programs
- Most UG Admissions are made through the scores of the candidates in APT (Academic Proficiency Test) and SNUSAT (Shiv Nadar University Scholarship Aptitude Test). Some courses admission is also based on 10+2 scores of the candidate.
- The admission to B.Tech course is made through JEE Main exam scores.
Admission to Postgraduate Programs
- The Admission to most of the PG courses is made on the basis of candidate's scores in UG courses.
- The Admission to MBA course is made through CAT/ GMAT/XAT/ NMAT/CMAT or SMAT (Shiv Nadar University Management Aptitude Test) exams.
