Admissions of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Adilabad
- Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is a Central University situated in Nirmal district, Telangana, established in 2007.
- RGUKT Hub is an University Management System to facilitate the academic activities in RGUKT Basar campus.
- RGUKT Basar provides B.Tech. (Integrated) and M.Tech (Computational Engineering) programs at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels.
- M.Tech applicants should have cleared GATE or PGECET, and final admission is contingent on their performance in the Personal Interview conducted by RGUKT.
- To be eligible for M.Tech, candidates must hold a B.Tech./B.E. in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
- The application process involves online form submission, followed by fee payment at AP or TS Online Centers, or through Credit/Debit Card or Net-Banking.
- Admission to the B.Tech. (Integrated) program is based on merit in the qualifying examination.
- Prospective students for B.Tech. (Integrated) must have passed the 10th standard.
Notification: The Telangana State Government releases the RGUKT Basara IIIT Admission Notification for filling up the Integrated B.Tech seats in RGUKT Basara for the academic year 2023-2024 after 10th results.
Registration: Candidates who have a minimum 10th GPA of 9.0 can fill the online application form on the official website of RGUKT Basar IIIT Admissions. The application process is divided into the following stages: payment of application fee and obtaining the application ID, filling the application form, and uploading the required documents.
Selection: The selection of students in IIIT Basara is based on the 10th Class GPA. Final admissions will be based on qualifying examination performance.The university releases a merit list of selected candidates.
Counseling: The counseling for the said courses will be conducted by RGUKT. Candidates who are allotted RGUKT Basar need to visit the campus.
Confirmation of Admission: At the end, candidates need to pay the B.Tech Integrated fees and confirm admission.

Placement: Though placements were good but at my time only the software companies used to come for placements and not the core companies.
Faculty: The faculty of the college was very excellent. In fact, the faculty members are from IIT’s. There ware enough teachers for every batch.
College: RGUKT is the best college. I was a student of integrated course (B.Tech with metallurgical engg) of 2009 batch. The college was established in the year 2008 but still the standard of education and other activities at the college were none less than any well developed older college. Hospital facility is also available in the campus area with MBBS doctors. Parents of hostelers were allowed to visit every Sunday.
