Nirma University offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. It also offers a Ph.D. program at the Doctorate level. the programs are offered under various specializations. The candidates seeking admission to any of the programs offered by the university must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university. The admission procedure of Nirma University can be completed by visiting the official website of the university. Minimum Educational Qualification Required

The University has a certain set of educational qualifications, which the candidates must fulfill before becoming a part of the admission procedure. Following are the minimum eligibility criteria required at different levels:

For Undergraduate programs

• For B. Tech, the candidates must have completed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
• For B. Pharm, the minimum educational qualification is to pass senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology securing at least 55% marks in aggregate.
• For admission to B. Arch, the candidates must have passed 12^th class with Mathematics as the main subject.
• For admission to Integrated BBA-MBA, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with English as the main subject securing at least 60% marks in aggregate and should be recognized by Nirma University.
• Candidates seeking admission to BA-LLB and B. Com-LLB must have passed senior secondary school securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
• For B. Com (H), the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with English and Accountancy/Business/Administration/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
• For admission to B. Des, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates with a Diploma or IB Diploma recognized by the state or central government are also eligible to apply for B. Des.

For Postgraduate programs

• Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
• For admission to MBA, candidates are required to hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
• For admission to M. Pharm, the candidates must have completed B. Pharm securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
• For MCA, the candidates must have graduated from the relevant field from a recognized university.
• The minimum qualification for Lateral entry admission to MCA is that the candidates must hold a BCA or B. Sc with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates seeking admission to M. Sc must hold a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• For admission to LLM, the candidates must have passed three years LLB after graduation securing at least 55% marks in aggregate.
• Candidates with five years of an integrated law degree are also eligible for admission to LLM.

For Ph.D. Program

• For admission to Ph.D., the candidates must hold a master’s degree or M. Phil in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

Admission to B. Pharm, B. Arch, B. Tech, Integrated BBA-MBA, BA-LLB, B. Com-LLB, B. Com, and B. Des at Nirma University

The programs at Nirma University are offered at the undergraduate level. Since there are several specializations to each program, the admission procedure of each program varies from one another.

• Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech are shortlisted based on their scores obtained in JEE Main or Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). 35% of the total seats belong to All India and 15% of the seats belong to NRI categories. The rest of the 50% seats are filled under the ACPC category.
• For admission to B. Pharm, the shortlisting is merit-based. The candidates are shortlisted through ACPC.
• Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch are shortlisted based on their scores obtained in NATA.
• In the case of Integrated BBA-MBA, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in UGAT conducted by AIMA+ Interview. Through this process, 65% of seats of All India are allocated. And 20% of seats are filled by considering the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination and interview.
• For admission to BA-LLB and B. Com-LLB, the marks obtained by the candidates in CLAT examination are considered.
• Candidates seeking admission to B. Des must qualify the entrance test followed by personal interview round and portfolio review conducted by the college.

Admission to M. Tech, MBA, M. Pharm, M. Sc, LLM, and MCA at Nirma University

• Admission to MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry) is based on the merit list through ACPC.
• Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech must hold a valid score in GATE examination or they must qualify the written test conducted by the Nirma University.
• For admission to MBA, it is required to qualify CAT examination followed by personal interview round.
• Admission to M. Pharm takes place based on the marks obtained by the candidates in GPAT examination. Candidates who do not hold a valid score in GPAT examination can qualify the admission test conducted by the university.
• Candidates seeking admission to M. Sc are shortlisted based on the merit in the entrance test conducted by Nirma University.
• For admission to LLM, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the PG CLAT examination followed by work experience and Statement of Purpose and Publications. Candidates who have not qualified PG CLAT must appear in PG ILNU entrance test.

Admission to Ph.D. at Nirma University

The University offers a Ph.D. in the fields of Engineering, Management, Science, Law, Pharmacy, and Architecture.

• For admission to Ph.D., the candidates are required to qualify the written test and personal interview round conducted by the university. Besides, the candidates with valid score in CSIR NET/UGC NET/SLET/GPAT/GATE examination are also eligible for admission to Ph.D.

Application Procedure of Nirma University

The University accepts both online and offline mode of application. The candidates seeking admission to any of the courses offered by the university must visit its official website and register themselves. Those who apply via offline mode are required visiting the concerned admission authority of the university.

• Application form for any undergraduate or postgraduate program can be filled online by visiting the official website. Before this, the candidates must obtain the PIN number from any Kotak Mahindra Bank.
• After filling the application form the candidates must process the payment of application fee. The payment can be made via credit card, debit card or net banking.
• Except for LLM, the application form of LLM is to be downloaded from the official website of the university and the duly filled application form is to be sent to CGPLS Head, Institute of Law, Nirma University Sarkhej, Gandhinagar Highway, Gujarat.
