NIIT University, Alwar

NIIT University, also known as NU, was established in the academic year of 2009. It is a private university which is being run with the help of NIIT Limited which is a multinational company offering learning management and training delivery solutions to multiple institutions. The university has been founded under the supervision of the Government of Rajasthan and has also been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is located in Neemrana (Alwar), a city in Rajasthan.

NIIT University has been regarded as one of the top twenty Indian Universities of the future by India Today aspire and was ranked 6^th in the Swachhata Ranking Awards 2018 for Higher Educational Institution by the Government of India.

One of the major considerable aspects of NIIT University is its infrastructure. The university provides all the basic facilities and manages to keep them maintained. The fully residential campus is designed in such a way that it supervises all the needed amenities. The campus is spread over an area of 100 acres.

The NIIT University Courses include programs offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These programs are offered under various specializations. Candidates seeking admission can choose the field they wish to pursue their career in. B. Tech is the only program offered at the undergraduate level, while, the programs offered at postgraduate level are Integrated M. Tech, Integrated M. Sc, Integrated MBA, and M. Tech. The university also offers Ph.D. at the Doctorate level. NIIT University Admission procedure varies from one program to the other. There are various procedures for various programs. the candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university. Following are the basic requirements to take admission in several programs offered:

• For B. Tech and integrated M. Tech, the candidates must have passed 10^th and 10+2 securing at least 60% marks in aggregate with PCM/PCB or PCMB.
• For Integrated MBA, the candidates must attain 50% marks in 10^th and 12^th class.
• For Integrated M. Sc, the candidates must have secured 60% marks in aggregate in 10^th class and in 12^th class must have obtained 60% marks in PCB.
• For M. Tech, the candidates must have secured 50% marks in aggregate in BE or B. Tech.

While admission to Ph.D. is done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in GRE/GMAT/JRF/CSIR/NET.

The NIIT University Placement follows a considerable trend over the past few years. The Center of Industry Collaboration of NU has good connections with most of the reputed companies. They conduct several events and programs in order to enrich the students. The maximum package offered at NU is 14.3 LPA while the average package remains to be at 5 LPA.
