Nehru Gram Bharati University (NGBU), Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh Admission 2025-2026: Process, How to Apply, Dates

The Nehru Gram Bharati University is open to all persons irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion, race, or class, and it shall not be lawful for the Deemed to be University to adopt or impose on any person any test whatsoever of religious belief or profession to entitle him/her to be admitted as a student in the Nehru Gram Bharati University, to graduate there at, or to enjoy or exercise any privilege. The Nehru Gram Bharati University should retain an all-India character and excellent teaching and research standards, as well as provide merit-based admission fairly and transparently. 

Admission to the Nehru Gram Bharati University is open to Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians, and people of Indian origin. The university will conduct a national-level entrance examination, either individually or in collaboration with other institutions, to determine student merit. However, the Nehru Gram Bharati University would admit overseas students per Indian and state government requirements. Provided that the names, eligibility requirements, and duration of degree programs properly adhere to the degree specifications outlined in UGC regulations. 

The students are required to submit the following documents along with their application forms:

• Copy of Aadhar Card
• Attested copies of High School/Intermediate Mark Sheet and Certificates and Graduation degree & Marks sheets (In case of U.G. & P.G. admissions respectively.
• Character Certificate of the Institution last attended.
• Transfer/Migration Certificate.
• Proof of the Weightage Claimed (Copies of Certificates) or any other Certificate required about the application Form.
• Two Passport Sized Photographs.
• Caste Certificate 

Admission Procedure:

Application form: A single online application form is used for all undergraduate and postgraduate academic degrees where admission is determined solely on merit. Prospects can be downloaded on the Institute's website or obtained for a cash payment of Rs. 1000/- from the Admin Office at Malviya Road, George Town, Civil Lines, Allahabad, and Nehru Gram Bharati campuses at Kotwa-Jamunipur-Dubawal and Hanumanganj, Allahabad.

Online Application Submission via Institution's Website: Candidates may also apply online using the application forms available on the Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University) website at www.ngbv.ac.in. The University will publish the last date for applying. The print copy of the online filled-in application form, along with the fee receipt produced and pictures, must be sent to the University's Admission Cell on the date specified by the Nehru Gram Bharati University.
