Medi-Caps University has shared its placement report for 2023, highlighting impressive outcomes for students. The highest package offered this year was INR 48 LPA, showing an almost 9% increase compared to the previous year. The median package stood at INR 4.25 LPA, reflecting solid opportunities for students across different fields.

During the 2023 placement drive, a total of 1,152 students secured jobs with top companies. Some of the prominent recruiters included TCS, CISCO, Value Labs, along with other well-known firms. Although the number of students placed in 2023 was slightly lower than in 2022, when 1,375 students were placed, the increase in the highest package demonstrates positive growth. The university’s placements continue to attract top companies, offering students opportunities to start their careers with competitive salaries and in well-reputed organizations.

The goal of Medi-Caps initiative to establish this "Skills Development Cell" is to add campus-based personality development training to the Graduate and Post Graduate Courses curriculum, giving all college students a rare opportunity to improve their communication and presentation skills and soft skills. Along with the digital language lab, a separate lab with 60 students is set up with the most up-to-date facilities for a variety of expert lecture sessions, workshops, and language learning sessions by offering an environment of interactive activities to develop the students’ interpersonal and communication skills. The skill development training uses a variety of teaching techniques, such as lectures, homework assignments, role plays, quizzes, and activity-based sessions. The focus is on practicing spoken English while learning.

In today’s cutthroat competitive environment, where these skills play a significant part in nearly every profession from vivas to placement, the importance of spoken English and related soft skills cannot be overlooked. The Communication Skills Department runs the spoken English classes to introduce students to the proper language strategies, communication abilities, and personality qualities.

Three main modules have been established for the training of enrolled students:

1. The first module, which is intended for novices, largely covers fundamental ideas like sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, common mistakes, etc.
2. The second module advances to an intermediate level where numerous exercises and assignments are used to strengthen verbal communication abilities. Additionally, candidates are groomed through training on clothing properly, politeness, and table manners.
3. In THE THIRD MODULE, students practice and verify their knowledge by participating in simulated group discussions and personal interviews, among other activities.
4. These courses are designed primarily for students who want to develop their overall personalities.

Medi-Caps has an excellent placement record, with 94% of students placed in a year. More than 200 recruiters visit the campus. The university has an exceptional placement cell that helps the students to prepare for the placements. Various programs run by the Training and placement cell are Industry-Institute-Interface, Communication and Personality Development, Personal Counselling, Career Development Program, etc.
