An amazing and enriching experience

Placement: Many companies come for placements, though this year it was substantially low because of the economic slump. (1) Around 10-20% were placed in core companies. And 30-40% placed in MNCs. (2) Highest salary offered was 24 lakhs in college, in my course highest package was 14 lakhs. Lowest package for college was 1.5 lakhs (same in mechanical) (3) Top recruiting companies: Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, TATA Motors, Goldman Sachs, Leadsquared, LnT Tech services (4) Most of the roles were entry level jobs (5) 50-60% got internships
Faculty: Faculty of Mechanical in general is pretty good. Most of the professors are highly qualified and knowledgable. Some professors though are not that good at communicating with students ie they are not able to transfer their subject knowledge to students in a proper manner. The course is well structured with a few exceptions. Here and there there are subjects which are also taught in lab along with in class. There is more learning in the lab for those subjects and it is a waste of time to teach them as theory subjects as they are meant to be solved by computer softwares, this makes these few subjects exceptionally tedious. The powerpoint slides and notes provided are mostly sufficient to clear exams. The course curriculum is mostly relevant, but doesn’t necessarily make you industry ready. Students have to go out of their way and be part of student projects to get the practical knowledge required to compete in the industry
College: I chose mechanical because i did not want to join a course where I only code. The best thing about this course is the mechanical lab experience. According to me I have learnt more in the labs than I have while studying theory. Though the course experience is pretty good, there ar ample minor flaws which can be worked upon. Though there is a schedule for each course, it is not implemented properly and most courses end up running short of time and hence they become rushed. Some faculty needs to work on their overall communications skills. It’s not that they dont know the subject but they lack the connect required between the students and teachers. Also a thing the college has to improce is it’s compensation system for attendance for people sitting for placements. Many classes are missed during placement season and the college refuses to provide attendance leverage.
Exam: The college allows for three attempts of their entrance exam. The best score is taken. Your rank is then later mailed to you. According to your rank you have to go for the counselling session on a particular date. There you can see the number of seats that are remaining in the college. After submitting few requisite documents, you get to choose which branch you want to join. If you dont get the branch of your choice you canput it on the wish list. If any vacancy is created you get upgraded to that branch. Priority is given to the better ranks. Once you block your seat the process is over. The admission process is very simple and transparent

College: A great college to finish the graduation, the campus is so clean and calm which gives us a great experience.
Exam: You have to apply it on online and write MET test

College: I am doing a degree in clinical psychology and the faculties in Manipal are best and they give lot’s of exposure to us and we work in a hospital where we get education and the hospital is having tie up with the college for the students and it is a wholesome course for me and the fee of the course is Rs 1.60 for the 1st year 1.50 lac for 2nd year.

College: One of the top colleges in India and also holds the Institute Of eminence title. Offers other courses as well ie., MBBS, BDS, BBA. Nursing, Architecture, and Designing.
Exam: Admissions are based on the MUOET-All India Test.

Best College To Study along with Personal Development.

Placement: Good placements, and the packages offered is very decent
Faculty: Amazing faculty...they dedicate their time and experience to students.
College: Manipal University has helped me to identify my strengths and weakness, this has helped me to develop my persona.

College: It’s not so easy not so tough overall prompt procedure to admission and there are Good placement by E&y, yes bank, icici bank, amazon, etc. Konkan railway training internship, free extra courses, STEP Program, conducting fest, events etc

College: I like the college and the pattern of service I am trusting God to be there very soon.
