Jagan Nath University, Jaipur, was established on April 16, 2008, through an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008). It is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade in 2022. The University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has received ICAR accreditation for its B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program for five years.
