Admissions are open for all courses at Indus University for the academic year 2023. Interested candidates can apply on the official university website. International applicants are also welcome.

Indus University is a privately governed university in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers courses in engineering, business management, commerce, aviation technology, design, architecture, computer science, and clinical research. It also offers a certificate course on Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Indus University has eight constituent institutes comprising several departments and schools that offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture (CoA).

Admission to all courses is based on merit and entrance exams. The university conducts its own entrance exams, Indus-MAT and Indus-DAT, for management and designing courses, respectively. Other national-level entrance exams are also accepted by the university.

• B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc (Integrated), and BBA: Merit-based
• MBA (Integrated) and MBA (Dual Degree): Valid score in UGAT conducted by AIMA
• M.Tech: Good score in GATE or equivalent state level entrance test
• MCA: Merit-based
• M.Sc: Separate entrance test conducted by the university
• MBA: CAT/ CMAT/ MAT or equivalent entrance test passed candidates are eligible to apply for MBA course in different disciplines
• Ph.D. (Full-Time & Part-Time): Indus University Research Aptitude Test (IURAT) followed by an interview

There is a separate department at Indus University called the Training & Placement Department (T & P Dept.) that connects two very important ends: school and business. At the entry level, it acts as a link between schools and University constituent groups, and at the end level, it connects academia and business.

From 2006 to 2008, the Training and Placement Department was in charge. It used to be part of the Indus Institute of Technology & Engineering, but starting in 2012, it became a part of the Indus University.

The Training and Placement Department is where all University students, from all programmes and streams, can go to get help with their future plans. It helps students find and pursue their dream jobs by giving them all-around career advice.

Indus University has completed its placement drive for the batch that passed out in 2022. The highest package offered to B.Arch students was INR 30 LPA, and the highest package offered to IT and Computer Engineering students was INR 24.10 LPA.
