Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Delhi NCR Courses list and Fees Structure 2025

IGNOU offers a variety of Degree, Diploma, Certificate and Doctoral degrees in the U.G and P.G category. The selection and eligibility criteria for the courses vary from each other.

U.G Programs-

• Admission to the IGNOU U.G courses usually commences in the month of February-March.
• Students are admitted to the course based on the marks scored in the higher secondary level from a recognized board in the relevant discipline.
• The Bachelor’s degree program offered is for a minimum duration of three years. The U.G Diploma courses offered are for a minimum duration of one year except for the Diploma in Elementary Education which is offered for a period of two years.

• Admission to the various P.G courses is based on the marks obtained by students at the Graduate level from a recognized University/Institute in the relevant discipline.
• The duration of all the P.G courses offered is two years except for the M.C.A course and M.Li.Sc. The M.C.A. course is offered for a duration of three years and the M.Li.Sc. is offered for a duration of two years.

• Admission to the M.Phil. programs are based on the marks obtained at the Master’s level. Students must obtain a Master’s degree from a recognized University or Institute with minimum 50% marks in the relevant discipline to be eligible for the program.
• Admission to the PhD courses is based on the marks scored either at the Master’s level or in the M.Phil. degree. Some courses also require the candidates to clear the UGC-NET with JRF.
