The candidates must have passed the 10+2, i.e. ISC/Intermediate examination or its equivalent examination of any recognized Indian Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for BPT and 45% marks for all other courses. In respect of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics taken together in the qualifying examination shall be 45% for BPT and 40% for all other courses. Students who are foreign nationals/non-resident Indians/persons of Indian origin must have passed an examination, which is equivalent to the Higher Secondary (Std. XII) examination in India.
