The Gandhi Institute of Technology & Management, which was previously known as GITAM University Visakhapatnam or Geetham University and GITAM College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1980 with the help of efforts put in by an eminent group of intellectuals.
