"One of my friends studied at DCRUST. According to him, if you are willing to study at DCRUST Murthal, opt for either CSE or ECE. As the core engineering departments like mechanical or electrical do not have good placements. It is better to go for CSE or ECE as many corporate firms participate in their placement program. Course Fee 2.36 lakhs Placement Percentage 70-80% Highest CTC 30 LPA Average CTC 7-9 LPA Lowest CTC 3-5 LPA Most of the DCRUST alumni received placement offers from TCS, Tech Mahindra, and HCL. "At DCRUST Murthal, we offer hostel facilities designed to provide a comfortable living environment for our students. Here's what students can expect from our hostels: - Our rooms are spacious and designed for single occupancy. However, these rooms are sometimes shared by two students, which may feel a bit cramped as the single and sharing rooms are of the same size. - Our mess and canteen facilities are well-regarded for offering healthy, hygienic, and affordable food, often considered better than many other university hostels. - Laundry facilities are provided free of charge for students. - The entire hostel is Wi-Fi enabled, ensuring students have access to the internet at all times. - For female students, there is a curfew time of 7 PM, which changes to 5:30 PM during the winter season. Male students experience fewer restrictions in this regard. For recreational activities, our hostels are equipped with volleyball and badminton courts, as well as a table tennis area. We also provide indoor games like carrom and a TV for students to enjoy during their leisure time. One issue we acknowledge is the occasional power cuts, which can be inconvenient, especially during exam seasons. We are continuously working to address and minimize these interruptions."

"DCRUST Murthal has maintained a commendable placement record for the ECE department over the past few years. While the majority of companies participating in the placement drive are mass recruiters like TCS, core companies are less frequent visitors to our campus. The average CTC offered to students typically ranges from 3-4 LPA. Based on recent trends, approximately 80% of students secure placements each year. ECE students benefit from the flexibility of being eligible for positions in companies related to CSE, ECE, and Electrical Engineering, broadening their career opportunities."

"What should I do to get admission in DCRUST in the CS branch?"

"If you want to get admission in CS at DCRUST, then you will need to have a good JEE Mains rank. If you are a general category student then your rank should be under 40,000. You will need to apply for DCRUST, through Haryana state technical counseling. Even if you aren’t getting CS, you can take admission to other branches, there are chances that you can slide your branch to CS after completing your 1st year."
