Chitkara University, Chandigarh, Punjab Admission
Chitkara University Admission to Engineering, Business, design, Architecture, Hospitality, Media, Pharmacy, Healthcare, Education, Psychology and Law. The admissions are given based on merit. The national level exams like JEE Main, SAT, and PSAT are the exams taken into consideration for admission into courses like BTech, MBA, and more. The courses along with their fees and eligibility are mentioned below, before seeing that take a view of the admission procedure.
How to Apply for Chitkara University Admissions?
There are three ways, you can choose either of the ways to apply to the university:
- You can Visit: Unit No. A 201-202, Elante Mall Office Complex, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh.
Chitkara University, Chandigarh–Patiala National Highway (NH-07), Punjab. - You can purchase at Bookstores: Check the university website (www.chitkara.edu.in) for bookstore details. Cost: ₹1100 (cash).
- Request by Post: You need to send a written request or request a demand draft of 1100 rupees in favor of the university. which will be payable at the : Chitkara University Admissions Office, Unit No. A 201-202, Elante Mall Office Complex, Industrial Area Phase I, Chandigarh, 160002, India.
- Download Online: You can also Download the form from www.chitkara.edu.in.
and send the filled application form along with the DD to the same address.
Submit the filled application form with all required documents before the deadline. Late submissions won’t be accepted.
Chitkara University Admissions Eligibility
- Students need to have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (any stream) from a recognized university.
- Students who are in their final-year students can apply if they have 50% aggregate marks till the previous year. One needs to submit the Graduation proof by September 30, 2025, otherwise the admission will be canceled.
- Candidates with compartments are not eligible.
- Work experience is not required.
Eligibility for MBA
- Admission is based on merit in CAT/MAT/NMAT/XAT/CMAT scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview.
- If a student does pass one of the above examinations they need to take the Chitkara University Test, along with group discussion and personal interviews.
- The university jury's decision is final for admission.
Chitkara University Student Counselling
Students need to go through the Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Micro Presentation as per the schedule. Students are advised to go through the counseling and admission instructions carefully and follow them. If your name is on the merit list but you don’t receive the counseling letter, you can still attend GD/PI on the notified dates.
