Central University of Kerala latest updates: The Academic Session 2023-24 for the Postgraduate programs started on June 05, 2024. The classes for the upcoming year will also commence around the same time as 2023.
The Central University of Kerala (CUK), Kasaragod, is among the 16 Central Universities established under The Central University Act, of 2009. It started four campuses across Kerala and laid the foundation for the sprawling 310-acre campus at Tejaswini Hills, Periye. It houses 25 Departments offering PG and Ph.D. programs. The Central University of Kerala also has two off-campus centers – one at Pathanamthitta which houses one department offering PG and Ph.D. programs and the other, Capital Centre at Thiruvananthapuram offering a UG program. In its second NAAC evaluation, CUK got an ‘A’ Grade and ranked among the top 100-150 in NIRF.
Candidates can apply for CUET UG and PG programs - 2023 through the “Online” mode only. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted. For admission in the Ph.D. programs candidates can get direct admission or through the Departmental Entrance Test conducted by the concerned department. It will be conducted in offline mode at the University headquarters.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) UG and PG Admission Process
The Central University of Kerala offers various UG and PG programs in the fields of Arts, Commerce, Science, Social Work, Business Management, International Relations and Politics, Linguistics, English and Comparative Literature, Law, etc. The admission process involves the following.
- Before applying the candidates must make sure that they clear the eligibility criteria for the CUET examination as well as the university. Candidates not eligible will not be selected.
- To start their application process candidates must apply for the CUET examination. For this candidates must visit the official website for CUET, and click on ‘Online Application Form’.
- After this candidates must create a login ID and password, applicants will then be given an auto-generated Application Number.
- Using the above-mentioned Application Number the applicants then need to complete their Application form. This includes filling in Personal Details, Educational Qualifications, University and Program selection, selecting Test Center, and uploading the required documents.
- After completing the application form the applicants will then have to pay the application fee. This can only be submitted online through UPI, Net-Banking, Debit, and Credit Card. Processing Fees and GST are chargeable to the candidates.
- However, applying for the CUET examination is not enough, candidates are also required to complete the admission procedure laid out by the university.
- The selection and admission criteria are based on the fulfillment of the admission criteria like eligibility, rank in the merit list, verification of original documents, and any other criteria set up by the Central University of Kerala.
- After the declaration of the CUET scores, 2023 by NTA, CUH will declare the counseling/ admission schedule, and merit list based on the CUET, 2023 score, and the criteria list set up by the university.

Central University of Kerala (CUK) Integrated UG Program Admission Process
The Central University of Kerala accepts the National Common Entrance Test score for their Integrated UG ITEP programs. The NCET exam is conducted in 13 mediums across India in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) in selected Central/State Universities/ Institutions. The Eligibility Criteria for the NCET examination mentioned by NTA is: For appearing in the NCET 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in the NCET 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Government College to which they are desirous of taking admission. For appearing in the NCET 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in the NCET 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Government College to which they are desirous of taking admission.

The Central University of Kerala offers 26 Doctoral Programs (Ph.D.) to its students.
