The Central University of Jammu came into existence in 2011, it was established under the Central Universities Act of 2009. The university's mission is to impart education and inculcate self-confidence which when combined with disciplined study, leads to faith in one's strength and conviction. CUJ aims to develop talent sustainable growth in academics, administration, business, and research by emphasizing organized thought and self-discipline. The university has a Central Placement Cell which provides placement to students in reputed MNCs, Government Organizations, and NGOs. The Training and Placement Cell believes in bridging the skill gap and offering relevant job opportunities to the students. It trains students to be prepared to face upcoming professional and personal challenges through meticulously designed curriculum and problem-solving exercises and workshops conducted. The median package for 2021 for the PG 2-year programs was INR 3.60 LPA. There was a fall of nearly 14% witnessed in the PG 2-year median package offered in 2022 as compared with 2021. Placement: When you are are having a degree from a such a reputable institution it’s not hard to find a job. Even companies also prefer the students to be hired from good institutes.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is good as its the government university so we can simply guess how much interest is shown by the staff to teach. It’s not like teaching is not good yes it is but not up to the mark.
Admission: State / National Entrance Exams
Club: More then 50,60 clubs are there small and big as jammu University is very big with many different departments so i don’t have much knowledge about the every club.

Faculty: As we know jammu University in the most reputed university of India. So here the faculty is highly qualified. Ritu dewan mam is my fav mam as the way se talk as the way she help. She makes problems so easy that i can even say. She’s best.

Club: There are so many clubs in Jammu University that a person cant even imagine... Only the thing is of taking intrest. One can learn alot from these clubs.
