BITS Pilani Placement System
The BITS Pilani Placement scenario has always been extremely positive across all of BITS campuses. Most students have their career paths mapped out long before they graduate. Every semester, nearly 500 students from the Pilani campus, 300 from the K K Birla Goa campus, 300 from the Hyderabad campus, and around 200 from the Dubai campus are available for placement. Almost all of them are successful in finding work. During the placement season of 2016-17, over 160 reputable companies visited the campuses, with many of them returning. The placement process has evolved over time to make recruitment as simple as possible for both students and employers. Each campus has a dedicated Placement Manager who is assisted by a student team of placement committee volunteers who work to ensure that the placement process runs smoothly. For BITS Pilani Placements a Placement Coordinator leads the team, which is supported by a Pitching Head, a Logistics Head, and a team of approximately 50 volunteers each semester.
Placement Seasons Approximately half of the graduating class is placed in the first semester, with the other half placed in the second semester.
Semester I runs from August to November.
Semester II runs from January to April.
