Admissions at Ashoka School of Business

Ashoka School of Business (ASB), Hyderabad, offers a PGDM programs at the postgraduate level with four specializations. The admissions process is designed to ensure that students with the right academic background and career goals are selected. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the admission process:

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• Final-year students awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
• For international applicants or students under the Foreign Nationals/PIO/NRI/Gulf categories, a valid Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent is required, along with meeting specific regulations from the concerned authorities.

Admission Process 2024

1. Application Submission

• Interested candidates can visit the official website and fill out the online application form.
• A non-refundable application fee of INR 1,000 is to be paid during submission.

2. Selection Process

• Eligible candidates will be invited to attend a Personal Interview (PI) or Group Discussion (GD) round. This step helps assess the candidate’s communication skills, leadership potential, and career goals.

3. Statement of Purpose (SOP)

• As part of the application, candidates must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) explaining their motivation to join the program and future career objectives.

4. Scholarship Allocation

• Eligible students may qualify for scholarships, which are awarded based on the entrance exam scores and academic performance.

5. Offer Letter and Confirmation

• Successful candidates will receive an offer letter from the institute. To confirm their seat, they must sign the offer letter and pay an initial admission amount of INR 50,000.

6. Final Admission Confirmation

• Once all the formalities are completed, the admission is confirmed.

Counseling Process and Institute-Level Admissions

• Admission to ASB is centralized and conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). Students who qualify for entrance exams (such as CAT, MAT, XAT, etc.) and select ASB during counseling will be allotted seats based on their rank and availability.
• Candidates can also apply directly to the institute under the management quota/institute-level seats.
