A score above 150 is expected to get a percentile of 99+, providing admissions to top colleges like COEP Technological University, VJTI Mumbai and SPIT Mumbai.While,candidates scoring in the range of 120-140 are expected to be in a percentile range of 97-98 and they aim for colleges such as Vidyalankar Institute of Technology and Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies. Ascore below 70 in the MHT CET exam is expected to be average and students can aim for state private collegeswith this score.

Last year, thecandidates scoring marks between 160-149 had achieved a rank below 1000, and a percentile between 100 - 99.99, whilecandidates in the score range between 145-136 corresponded to a rank below 5000 and a percentile between 98-99. In 2025, the marks vs rank is expected to be similar to the last year.

How is percentile calculated in MHT CET 2025?

The MHT CET results will be declared in the second week of June based on the normalization process. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra has released the formula in the official notification.

MHT CET Percentile Score= 100 * (Number of candidates in the exam with normalized marks ≤ the candidate) ÷ Total number of candidates in the exam.
