XLRI Placements 2025 - 100% Placement with the Highest Package of ₹1.10 Crore

Xavier School of Management, one of India's premier business schools, has successfully wrapped up the final placement season for the PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) batch of 2023-25 with success. The school has placed its students at 100% this year, reaffirming its position as a first choice among Indian management graduates. 

XLRI Jamshedpur achieved 100% placement for its PGDM (BM) and PGDM (HRM) batch of 2023-25, with the highest international package of ₹1.10 crore. 

A total of 591 students from Business Management (BM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) batches took part in the recruitment drive. Over 172 firms provided over 600 domestic job offers and 2 international job offers on campus. Up to 34.17% of the students were extended Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) for their internship and good performance during summer placements.

Consulting Sector Leads the Way

Among the numerous sectors that employed XLRI graduates, the consulting field was the strongest. Global-icon consulting was the largest recruiter of XLRI students, and global consulting giants like Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, and Accenture Strategy were the largest recruiters of XLRI students into the most sought-after roles. They are best recognized for assigning difficult projects in strategy, business transformation, and management consulting, and XLRI students are still the first choice for these companies.

 

Strong Participation from Other Streams

Apart from consulting, XLRI students noticed other core businesses as well showing huge interest:

  • Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI): Giants like Goldman Sachs, Citi, Barclays, and Kotak Mahindra Bank hired candidates for investment banking, asset management, and fintech roles.
  • FMCG and Manufacturing: Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Procter & Gamble (P&G), and Tata Steel organizations followed the trend of hiring from XLRI for leadership roles and management profiles.
  • Technology and E-commerce: Tech leaders Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Meesho were aggressively participating in the placement drive, recruiting candidates in product management, operations, supply chain, and strategy.

Salary Highlights

The placement season saw excellent salary packages being offered:

  • The batch average salary given: INR 31.08 lakhs per annum.
  • Median: INR 29 lakhs per annum
  • 10% Top students: Average salary of INR 52.03 lakhs per annum.
  • 25% Top students: Average salary of INR 44.35 lakhs per annum.
  • Highest salary offered: INR 75 lakhs per annum.
  • Highest international offered: INR 1.10 crores per annum.
