VGU Secures Third Place Nationally in Prestigious Global University Rankings

Vivekanand Global University, Jaipur:
Vivekanand Global University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the first NAAC (AAA+) accredited private university in the region, is now moving ahead and has achieved another landmark in the continual process of enhancement of higher education. The university’s ranking has reached the third position in India due to the aspects that show immense commitment towards innovative practices, consistent support for equal opportunities, and III strengthening institutions.
VGU Global Rankings:
In a recently released report by Global University Ranking, an organization renowned for its comprehensive evaluations and rankings of higher education institutions worldwide, Vivekanand Global University (VGU) has been declared the third top university in India for 2024. This recognition pertains specifically to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Strong Institutions (SI) rankings, underscoring VGU's dedication to fostering an inclusive environment and making significant social contributions.
VGU CEO Remarks:
The CEO of the university, Eng. Omkar Bagaria, attributed this incredible achievement to the collective efforts of the entire university community, including students, faculty, and staff, and expressed his heartiest congratulations to the VGU family. He further remarked that securing the third rank in the nation is a matter of absolute pride not only for the institution but also for the entire state. Eng. Bagaria emphasized VGU's dedication to educational advancement, environmental betterment, and career development for students, along with its standing commitment to providing high-quality education. He highlighted that the university prioritizes enhancing academic standards to ensure that, in the era of globalization, students are well-equipped to soar in the increasingly competitive fields of career building and employment, thereby shaping their future successfully.
VGU Chairperson Remarks:
The chairperson of the university, former IAS Dr. Lalit K. Panwar, said VGU believes in education that shapes the overall comprehensive development of personalities of students. VGU is a well-renowned global institution, with more than 12,000 students from almost all the states of India and 18 other countries pursuing their education in UG and PG faculties and more than 100 career-oriented programs including doctoral courses.
VGU Acting President Remarks:
Prof. Santosh Kumar, the Interim President of the university, expressed his pride in the university's milestone of securing the third position in the country in the global rankings. He further noted that this achievement reflects their continuous academic excellence and progress in higher education. The university has rapidly made progress in the field of higher education in a short period, and today it has made its mark not only in Rajasthan but also among the top universities of the country. This achievement reflects years of hard work, innovative teaching methods, and a commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment for students.
