The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 has officially ended. The exam started on April 20 and ended on April 27 in multiple slots across different centers. Thousands of students participated in the exam, wanting admission into various B.Tech programs offered by VIT campuses, as it is one of the best institutes in India.
Exam Analysis:
- Candidates' reaction to the difficulty of the exam gave moderate results. But students reported that mathematics was the toughest section, with lengthy questions, especially from calculus and coordinate geometry. Students needed strong problem-solving skills to manage time well.
- Next in line was Physics, and students felt it to be moderately difficult. The questions were focused mainly on topics like magnetism, optics, and current electricity. Which needed a base of concepts and problem-solving.
- Chemistry was slightly easier, with questions mainly from organic chemistry, electrochemistry, and basic principles of inorganic chemistry.
- The English and Aptitude sections were comparatively easy; English had questions related to comprehension skills and grammar, while Aptitude had mostly basic logical reasoning.
Importantly, VITEEE does not have negative marking, which means students were not worried about losing marks and were able to answer the questions freely.
Result Date and Admission Process for VIT:
The results will be announced on April 30, 2025, on the official website of VIT, which is , viteee.vit.ac.in. After the results in May, the counselling process will start, followed by the admission process. Students will be called to the campus based on their ranks obtained in the exam.
Expected Cutoff:
The overall exam was moderately difficult. So, the cutoffs for top branches like Computer Science and Electronics will be tight. Students who scored above 118 marks will most likely be ranked among the top 250, which will help them select the courses of their choice.
Students should keep their login details ready.
Best wishes to everyone awaiting their VITEEE 2025 results!
