The Union Public Service Commission has issued the final marks of Indian Economic Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Services (ISS) examinations 2024. Candidates who had appeared for the exams can view their final marks at the official UPSC website. This recruitment process was meant to fill up 18 posts in Indian Engineering Services and 33 in Indian Statistical Services. However, since suitable candidates were not available under categories PwBD-2 and PwBD-3 for ISS, only 31 were selected for ISS. The backlog vacancy in one candidate belonging to the PwD category was also included, but he is not a candidate from the PwD category. Results for eight candidates—four are from IES and four are from ISS—are provisional.
Quote from the official notice issued by the commission: "The offer of appointment for candidates with provisional results will be issued only after the commission verifies the original documents from such candidates and confirms their provisional status."
UPSC ISS, IES Final Marks 2024: The Checking Procedure
You can check the marks of UPSC ISS and IES for the final examination in 2024 with these simple steps:
- Check the official website of UPSC - upsc.gov.in.
- The direct link to the UPSC IES, ISS Final Result 2024 marks shall appear on the home page.
- A new page will open with the PDF for IES and ISS marks by clicking the link.
- Open the PDF and see the marks, and then download the file.
- Provisional results for these candidates will be valid for three months from the date of final result declaration. If the candidates fail to submit the documents during this period, their candidature will be canceled and no further correspondence will be entertained.
The UPSC IES and ISS Exams 2024 were scheduled between June 21st to 23rd of which the written exam results were announced in August 2024. Candidates who qualified for written examination appeared for personality tests which were conducted in the month of December 2024.
Sinchan Snigdha Adhikary topped the list for ISS exam whereas for IES exam, and Anurag Gautam took the top rank of it.
