The wait is near its end for lakhs of students who took the UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has confirmed that the answer sheets evaluation is complete now, and the results can be declared on any day.
As per the official April 2, 2025, press release, all 261 evaluation centers of the state have completed verifying answer sheets. This year, almost 51.37 lakh students participated in the examinations and more than 1.5 lakh teachers were engaged in the verification process.
The testing was conducted under strict security between March 19 and April 2. CCTV cameras with voice recorders were placed in all centres to facilitate smooth operations. Every examiner had a predetermined number of answer sheets to mark daily—up to 50 for high school general subjects, 80 for arts, and 45 for intermediate subjects. Evaluators were also required to divide their work half-and-half prior to and post-lunch. In order to avoid any inaccuracies, officials at the Board level also made random checks on the evaluated sheets.
Until now, the Board hasn't declared the result date officially. However, according to reports in the media and previous patterns, UP Board Class 12 and Class 10 results would be declared post-April 20 2025, if not at the end of this month.
