Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has decided to postpone class 12 practical examinations 2025. Earlier, UP Board Class 12 Practical Exams were about to be held from 23rd Jan, 2025 but now UP Board will be conducting the same in February 2025. As per the revised UP Board Practical Dates 2025, class 12 practicals will begin on February 1st and will end on February 16, 2025. These changes in UPMSP 12 Practical Dates have been made due to JEE Mains exam dates. The UP Board has ensured that students do not need to face a clash between JEE Main and UPMSP 12th practical exams.
The JEE Main examination will be taking place from 22 January to 31 January. This year, the board had witnessed a large number of students registered for practical exams as 12.5 Lakh+ students registered for biology in Inter Science, 16.5 lakh+ students for Physics and more than 16.5 lakh students for Chemistry.
As per the new revised UP Board Practical Exam Dates 2025, the examinations will be conducted in two phases including phase 1 and 2. Phase 1 examinations will be conducted from 1st February to 8th February, 2025 in selective zones comprising Meerut, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Varanasi, Aligarh, Mirzapur and Gorakhpur. Phase 2 UPMSP Practical Examinations will be conducted from 9th February to 16th February, 2025. Phase 2 exams will be held in more than 10 zones including Chitrakoot, Saharanpur, Lucknow, Jhansi, Agra, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Azamgarh, Devipatan and Basti divisions.
This decision has been taken majorly because of the clash between JEE Main exam and UP 12 Practical examinations 2025. Now students will be allowed to prepare for both JEE Main and Practical exams within time. The revised UP Board Class 12 Practical Dates will allow students to manage time for both exam’s preparation. UPMSP also mandates all the examiners to upload candidate’s marks directly on a mobile application and examiners will not be allowed to use this application out of 200 m range. Such rules by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will bring more transparency and fairness in the conduction of UP Board Exams.
