TANCET 2025 and CEETA PG 2025: Registration Details, Exam Dates, and Eligibility Criteria

Anna University has released the registration schedule for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 and Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions (CEETA PG) 2025 starting from today, January 24. The students can avail themselves of the registration window by logging into the official website at tancet.annauniv.edu. TANCET 2025 registration will close on February 21, 2025.

  • Date of TANCET 2025 Exam: 22 Mar 2025  
  • Time of MCA Exam: 10.00 AM - 12.00 Noon.
  • Time of MBA Exam: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM 
  • CEETA PG 2025 Exam Date: 23 Mar 2025 at 10.00 AM - 12.00 Noon
  • Result Declaration Date: The date for the declaration of TANCET 2025 results is still to be released. Last year, the results of TANCET were released on 28 March.

TANCET 2025: Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for TANCET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:  

- Educational Qualification:  

  1. A bachelor's degree of at least 3 years in any of the following patterns:  
  2. 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern 
  3. 10 + 3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern

- B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Arch./ B.Pharm

  1. 10 + 2 + AMIE or 10 + 3 years Diploma + AMIE

- Minimum Qualification and Percentage of Marks:

  1. General Category : 50% aggregate in the qualifying degree.
  2. SC/ST : 45% aggregate

- Age (No bar) Shall be eligible to appear for TANCET -2025.

TANCET 2025: Exam Pattern  

Mode of Examination: Offline (Pen-and-Paper-Based Test).  

Total Questions: 100  

Sections: The examination will have five sections:  

  1. Business Situations  
  2. Reading Comprehension  
  3. Quantitative Ability  
  4. Data Sufficiency  
  5. English Usage  

Marking Scheme:

  1. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer.  
  2. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.  

Medium of Paper: English
