Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 Provisional rank list OUT: Choice-filling from August 21
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling: Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research has released the provisional rank list and round 1 schedule for NEET UG counselling 2024 for MBBS, BDS admissions. Candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 can check the provisional merit list in the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
Round 1 registration, fee payment and choice filling will start from 21st August. Eligible candidates can apply, pay fee and fill the colleges and courses before 27th August.
The application fee for Tamilnadu NEET 2024 for the Government quota is INR 500 while for the Management quota, it is INR 1,000.
Students will also have to submit a refundable security deposit of Rs 30,000 for government quota seats and Rs 1 lakh for the management quota seats in self-financed medical and dental colleges and state private universities.

How to fill Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2024
The below steps will enable students to understand TN NEET UG 2024 counselling process:
- Firstly register yourself in the official website tnmedicalselection.net.
- Click on ‘Apply online for MBBS/BDS application 2024-25’ button on the screen.
- Choose ‘government’ or ‘management’ quota as per your choice.
- Fill all the mandatory fields in the Tamilnadu NEET counselling registration form 2024 and upload the required documents.
- Pay the TN NEET counselling registration form 2024.
- Pay the security deposit of INR 30,000 for government quota and INR 1,00,000 for management quota.
- Based on the candidate's choice locking, Tamil Nadu NEET UG seat allotment results 2024 will be announced round-wise.
Documents required during the Tamil Nadu Medical Counselling 2024
Here is the complete list of documents required for document verification at the time of counselling:
- NEET 2024 result/scorecard
- NEET 2024 admit card
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 11 mark sheet
- Marksheet of Class 12 or equivalent
- A bonafide certificate stating that the student has passed Class 6 to Class 12 from a school in Tamil Nadu
- Transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) a bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.
- Nativity certificate (the candidate is a native of Tamil Nadu but has passed Class 6 to Class 12 from an institute outside Tamil Nadu)
- Aadhar Card
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Ration card/Passport
- Transfer certificate/ SSLC/Class 10/Class 12 Mark Sheet /first graduate certificate/no graduate certificate
- Community certificate
- Income certificate (If applicable)
