NIRF Ranking 2024: The NIRF Rankings 2024 will be announced on August 12, 2024 by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at a press conference. The NIRF Rankings 2024 will include top colleges across 13 categories - Engineering, Medical, Management, Dental, Pharmacy, Law and more.
NIRF evaluates Indian institutions on teaching-learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and perception. In the NIRF ranking system, 30% weightage is given to both teaching-learning and resources and research and professional practice. 20% weightage is given to graduation outcomes, 10% to outreach and inclusivity and 10% to perception. NIRF ranks higher educational institutions in the country using objective criteria to promote competitive excellence in higher education.
Parameters And Weightages of NIRF Ranking 2024
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and launched by the Minister of Human Resource Development on September 23, 2015. This framework provides a methodology for ranking institutions across the country.
