The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on June 30 the results and ranks for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) reexam 2024. The number of AIR 1 rankers dropped from 67 to 61 because, according to reports, none of the 813 NEET retest candidates achieved a perfect score of 720/720.

By going to the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/, candidates who took the NEET can view and download the updated NEET 2024 result. Seven test centers—Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh, a Union Territory—hosted the NEET 2024 retest. The NEET 2024 retest took place from 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm.
According to the June 4th, released NEET toppers list 2024, 67 candidates received an All India Rank (AIR) of 1. The number of perfect scorers dropped from 67 to 61 after it was discovered in the NEET 2024 re-exam results that none of the 813 candidates who took the test were able to achieve a perfect score of 720/720. Five of the six applicants who initially scored 720/720 on the retest were able to maintain scores above 680, according to a report published in Indian Express.

According to NTA, the initial scores obtained before the addition of grace marks will be regarded as final for students who did not take the NEET re-test in 2024.
