NEET PG Updates: In a recent update, the NEET PG aspirants have raised a petition against the last minute changes in the NEET PG exam pattern, marking scheme, and for not maintaining transparency in releasing the answer key, raw scores, and question papers. For full updates read below.

The supreme court has not listed the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG hearing today, October 4th, 2024, and the hearing has been delayed. To tell you what happened, let us begin by starting with a brief of this case. The aspirants of NEET PG raised their concerns against the last minute changes in the NEET PG exam pattern, marking scheme, and for not maintaining transparency in releasing the answer key, raw scores, and question papers. The hearing had to be postponed owing to the fact that no representative from the Union of India came to the hearing.

NEET PG Petition Latest Updates

The NEET PG exam was conducted on August 11, and the results for the exam were declared on 23rd August 2024. However, the candidates were extremely dissatisfied as the authorities did not release any information regarding the NEET PG exam cutoff o the answer key.  Due to this issue, 19 students raised a petition to the Supreme Court and the first court hearing was held on September 13, where the NBEMS officials were questioned for this lack of transparency. The next hearings were held on 20th and 27th September during which the court requested for the presence of additional solicitors to assist in the matter.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Updates

The Medical Counselling Committee has started the registration process for the first round of counselling on September 20. Eligible candidates can fill up the NEET PG counselling form from the official MCC website - mcc.nic.in. The complete schedule of the counselling rounds including the stray vacancy round is yet to be announced by the authorities.
