MCC has given a window for the resignation of candidates from the allotted seats in the first round of NEET PG Counselling 2024. The last date to resign is December 3, 2024.
As per an official notification by MCC, candidates who had been allotted seats in state-level counseling for the first round can now resign from the seat they were allotted by MCC. Such candidates can then opt for seats in their state counseling.
The resignation process can only be initiated through the college allotting them their initial seat to complete it. Resignations need to be mandatorily entered on the MCC's intramcc portal. Thereby, any resignations not found on the said portal are considered null and void.
The Medical Counselling Committee has allowed applicants to apply for a change in nationality from Indian to Non-Resident Indian (NRI) for the NEET PG 2024 second round of counselling. Applicants who wish to have this change can apply with their documents by December 1, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
The MCC had stated in an official notice that: “Applicants who claim to be NRI, as per directives or orders of the Supreme Court of India, shall send their supporting documents for nationality conversion to nri.adgmemcc1@gmail.com between 10:00 AM on November 29 and 10:00 AM on December 1, 2024.”
Documents Needed for Nationality Conversion:
1. Proof of NRI Sponsorship: The candidate must have a copy of the sponsor's passport and visa.
2. Relationship Certificate: The candidate must have the document establishing the relationship between the sponsor and the candidate, in compliance with Supreme Court orders.
3. Affidavit from Sponsor: The applicant should have an affidavit stating that the sponsor will pay for the applicant's entire course fees.
4. Embassy Certificate: The candidate has the embassy certificate issued by the sponsor's consulate.
5. NEET Scorecard: The candidate shall have his/ her original NEET PG scorecard.
All these are the documents needed for Nationality Conversion. Candidates are asked to submit all the required documents before the deadline for successful nationality conversion.
