JEE Main Session 2 Exam Date: The examinations will commence from April 2 and conclude on April 9. Previously session 2 was set to start from April 1 to April 8.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the timetable for JEE Main session 2. The exams will begin from April 2-9. Previously, JEE Main session 2 was to commence between April 1 and April 8.

NTA will administer the JEE Main in numerous cities within the nation along with 15 foreign locations. Students are free to download the examination schedule from the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

In session one of the JEE Main, among the 13,11,544 candidates who applied for JEE Main 2025 paper 1 examination, as many as 12,58,136 (95.93 per cent) of the candidates appeared. 12 questions were omitted by the Agency in session one with the final answer key being published on the afternoon of February 10.

The session one examination was held in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The NTA did not declare the JEE Main 2025 session one scores of 39 candidates as those candidates were found indulging in Unfair Means practices

In the session one,  there is just one female topper from Andhra Pradesh Sai Manogna Guthikonda. The NTA has not declared the percentiles of 39 candidates as they were found indulging in Unfair Means practices. Most toppers are from Rajasthan.

In the ST category, Parth Sehra from Rajasthan has topped, while in PwBD category, Harshal Gupta from Chhattisgarh has topped the JEE Main exam. In the OBC NCL category, Daksh from Delhi has topped, while in SC category, Shreyas Lohiya from Uttar Pradesh has topped the JEE Main exam.

A total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) across different categories and genders. Among them, 4,43,622 were female candidates, with 1,67,790 from the General category, 45,627 from EWS, 42,704 from SC, 13,833 from ST, and 1,73,668 from OBC.
