JEE Main 2025: Session 2 admit card, exam city slip; when to expect the release

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 admit card 2025 is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency on March 29. The link will be made available on jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official website. Among other things, the admit card will include the candidate's personal information, the address of the exam centre, and the exam times. On the day of the JEE Main exam, candidates must bring their admit card and an authorised photo ID.

The dates for JEE Main 2025 session 2 are April 1 to April 8, 2025. After the completion of the exam application and correction window, the testing agency will issue exam city intimation slips and admit cards.

The JEE Main session 2 city intimation slip was released by NTA on March 20, 2025. It includes the exam date and the city. All information regarding the exam centre address and shift timings, will be included on the JEE Main admit card.

  • Visit the page - jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • On the website, click the download link “exam city notification slip and session 2 admit card”
  • Enter your birthdate, application number, and login credentials.
  • Check and download the admit card for future reference

Candidates must check the information to make sure it is accurate after downloading the admit card. Students should report any inconsistencies to the NTA by calling the helpline numbers listed on the official website.

In January, JEE Main 2025 held its first session. Both paper results paper 1 (BE/BTech) and paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) have been made public.

National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and other participating institutions use JEE Main, a national entrance test, for admitting students to undergraduate engineering programmes and associated courses.

It is also the prerequisite exam for JEE Advanced, which is necessary for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) undergraduate admissions.
