The JEE Main application correction window is set to open tomorrow on the official website of the JEE Main exam - jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will need to use their application or registration number and password to login and make the necessary edits. The JEE Main correction window will be opened only for a day, and no edits will be allowed post the conclusion of the window.
JEE Main 2025 Correction Window: the JEE Main application correction is a one time facility provided to the candidates to make changes in the application form in case they have made any mistakes or errors. However, the correction window does not allow to edit all the details and only a few details can be edited. The JEE Main correction window will open on November 26th, and the last date to make changes is set for November 27th, 2024. NTA may charge an application correction fees, and the candidates will be able to make changes till 11.59 p.m. on 27th November 2024.
How To Make Corrections in the JEE Main Application Form 2025?
To make corrections in the JEE Main form, candidates need to follow the below step-by-step procedure.
- Visit the JEE Main 2025 official website - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Navigate and hit the ‘Login for correction in Application Form’ tab
- Enter your Application Number, Password, and Security Pin on the login window
- Hit the ‘Login’ button
- Click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’ to edit and make changes
- Read the instructions carefully
- Edit the information and make the changes
- Pay an additional fee if required
Fields That Can be Edited
Candidates can make changes to the following details in the JEE Main application form during the correction window.
- Name: Candidates can edit/change their name in the uploaded JEE Main application form as per their Class 10 mark sheet after login.
- Photo/Image: You can make changes to the uploaded photograph and signatures. NTA has recently announced that photographs without names and dates will be accepted.
- Paper: Candidates will be allowed to change the choice of papers in JEE Main 2025 exam, or opt for both papers. Any extra amount that may arise as a result of a change of option has to be paid at the time of making the corrections.
- Category: According to the information, candidates will be able to change their category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. An additional fee might be charged.
- Language: Aspirants can change the medium of examination from English to Hindi/Gujarati.
- Aadhaar number: Like last year, candidates will be able to update their Aadhaar card numbers.
- Date of Birth: The date of birth can be edited/changed as per the candidate’s Class 10 mark sheet.
- Communication address: Aspirants will be able to edit/change/update their address of communication.
- Contact number: The contact number filled by candidates in JEE Main application form can be edited/changed/updated.
