JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) has announced 50% scholarships for its MTech programs to candidates who qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Academic achievement in postgraduate engineering education is meant to be recognized and encouraged by the grant.
The MTech programs offered by the deemed-to-be university are food technology, aerodynamics engineering, VLSI and embedded systems design, electric vehicle technology, structural engineering, and aerospace propulsion technology.
According to the university's scholarship policy, one qualified student per branch will get a scholarship that covers 50% of their first year's tuition. However, students must receive at least 60% on their semester examinations in order to be eligible for the scholarship the following year.
JAIN Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria
- Students who want to avail scholarships for MTech programs at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) need to be an Indian national with a valid GATE score in order to be eligible.
- Additionally, the university announced that students who passed the GATE would not need to take the Jain Entrance Test (JET) and could move directly to the online phase of personal interviews.
- Students will be given admission to MTech courses at the JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) on the basis of the marks obtained in the JET, followed by the personal interview.
JAIN University Scholarship: Steps to Apply
Candidates can follow below steps to apply for a scholarship:
Step 1: Take the scholarship application from the admissions office of JAIN University.
Step 2: Choose one scholarship category ( for eg: Academics, Sports, Literary, Community Service, Dance & Music) and apply for it.
Step 3: Complete the scholarship application accurately, including all necessary information.
Step 4: Attach the required documents, including certificates, academic transcripts, and the photos specified.
Step 5: Before the deadline, submit the application form and the other required documents to the admissions office.
Step 6: After reviewing applications, the University Scholarship Committee will choose applicants based on their qualifications and merit.
Step 7: A scholarship offer letter and an acceptance form will be sent to candidates if they are selected.
Step 8: To verify your acceptance, sign the Scholarship Acceptance Form and send it by the deadline.
