The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will close the 10th and 12th scrutiny application process today, 17 May, at 8 pm. Students who are not unsatisfied with the JAC 10th and 12th results 2024, can apply for scrutiny at the JAC official website- jac.jharkhand.gov.in. The state board has informed that the scrutiny will be applicable only for the theory exam, and not for practical and internal assessment.
The JAC 12th science, commerce, and arts stream has recorded an overall pass percentage of 85.88%, while that of the Class 10 students were recorded to be 90.39%. The minimum passing mark for each subject was 35. The Jharkhand Board scrutiny fees for Class 10th and Class 12th inter students are INR 450 and INR 750 per subject, respectively. The council stated "Last date for submission of the scrutiny application form (all process up to payment) is 17.5.2024 till 8 pm. Apply early to avoid last-minute rush."
How to Apply for JAC 10th, 12th Scrutiny 2024?
Students who wish to apply for Jharkhand JAC 10th, and 12th scrutiny, can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the JAC board official website- jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Use the roll code and roll number to register yourself for the scrutiny.
- After completing the registration process, students can select the subjects they wish to apply for.
- Students need to make the payment via online mode.
- Finally, submit the form.
- It is advised to keep the payment receipt along with the students for future use.
How Will the JAC 10th, 12th Scrutiny Take Place?
The JAC Board will conduct the scrutiny of answer sheets as mentioned below:
- If any question and answer was unchecked, it will be evaluated.
- If any marks obtained are not added to the main page, it will be added.
- If the total marks are not added to the main page, correction in the total marks obtained will be done.
The board also stated, “Application forms sent after the prescribed date or through post, courier, e-mail, or any other means will not be accepted for scrutiny.”
