The second tentative seat allotment for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2024 has been released by Indian Maritime University (IMU). In the second list, 418 applicants were given admission to IMU for undergraduate study in 2024. In order to download the provisional allocation list, recently assigned candidates have been instructed to check in using their application number and password. Prior to July 19, they must additionally pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 30,000.
A student's seat will be cancelled, they will forfeit the Rs. 10,000 counseling charge, and they will not be eligible for an upgrade in the next rounds if they do not make the payment by the deadline. After successfully completing the fee payment, selected candidates will also need to report to the IMU campus between July 20 and July 23. Original certifications and documentation, as well as medical fitness, will be confirmed during the physical reporting. The complete payment of the caution deposit and first semester tuition is also required of the students. In order to be considered for the upcoming counseling rounds, those who are dissatisfied with the allocation outcomes must also accept the allocation.
Documents Required for IMU Counselling 2024
The original certifications listed below must be presented by candidates, and copies of their documentation must be carried.
- Birth certificate. A certificate from an accredited board for classes 10 and 12.
- Only applicants who identify as SC, ST, or OBC (NCL) may submit a community certificate.
- Applicants who qualify for the economically disadvantaged section must present a certificate.
- Printed version of the CET rank certificate from IMU.
- Two identical passport-sized photos. The Adhaar card. NCC certification, if relevant.
- UG grade sheets.
- Passport and medical fitness certificate, if applicable.
