The HP board Class 12 English test has been rescheduled for March 29 by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE). According to the HPBOSE official announcement, the HPBOSE Class 12 English re-exam 2025 will take place in the evening session from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The HPBOSE Class 12 English test was previously set on March 8. An alleged paper leak led to the cancellation of the HPBOSE Class 12 English test in 2025.
Board authorities claim that Government Senior Secondary School in Chowari, District Chamba, is where the HPBOSE Class 12 English paper leak was discovered. Teachers at the aforementioned institution unintentionally released the HP board 12th English question paper one day ahead of schedule, according to a PTI report. The dates of the 2025 HPBOSE Class 12 examinations are from March 4 to March 29.
HPBOSE Class 12 English exam cancellation 2025
During the Class 10 test on March 7, the seal was broken, delaying the scheduled March 8 HPBOSE Class 12 English exam. According to the PTI report, an investigation was started right away after the HPBOSE got an anonymous complaint on the HP Board Class 12 English paper leak.
The Board verified the claim using footage from the "Exam Mitra App", a surveillance application designed to monitor examination centres. Upon confirming the breach, the Board announced HPBOSE Class 12 English exam cancellation 2025 statewide to maintain the integrity of the exam process.
HPBOSE Board Exams 2025: Strict action against paper leak
HPBOSE secretary Vishal Sharma said the Board took the matter seriously and there will be no security compromises allowed during the process of examinations. Sharma also mentioned that the Board has begun investigating who is involved in this security breach, and strong action against them would follow accordingly. The Board has also revisited the security guidelines for ensuring this is not repeated.
Students can go to the official website of HPBOSE or communicate with their respective school administration in case of any inquiry about the HPBOSE Class 12 English re-exam 2025. Students will need to produce their HPBOSE Class 12 admit card and school ID at the examination center.
