How and Where to Check GATE 2025 Exam Result?
Once the result is out on the website, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check the GATE exam result 2025:
- Visit the GOAPS online portal -goaps.iitr.ac.in.
- Enter your login credentials such as Enrollment ID and Password.
- Submit the details entered.
- The screen will display your GATE Result 2025.
- Download the result and take a printout of it for future reference.
“When will the GATE 2025 result be out?” or “What is the GATE 2025 result date?” - These are the most common questions that GATE aspirants have been asking. IIT Roorkee already released the GATE 2025 result date on the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in. It must be noted that the candidates will be able to check the GATE results on the GOAPS online portal - goaps.iitr.ac.in/login. As per the official notice on the website, the result of GATE 2025 exam has been released on March 19, 2025 i.e. Today.
The examination conducting body already released the official date for GATE 2025 results on the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Now that the GATE results are out, candidates who took the exam can now check it by logging into their accounts. They will have to enter their enrollment ID and password along with the security code (shown on the screen) to access their GATE results 2025. IIT Roorkee will also release the GATE Scorecard 2025 on March 28, 2025 along with the GATE 2025 branch wise cutoff marks on the official website. Candidates can also check the GATE toppers list after the declaration of result.
IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Candidates who took the exam can also check the GATE cutoff 2025 to evaluate their chances of admission to the desired colleges.
GATE Scorecard 2025
IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 scorecard on March 28, 2025. The GATE scorecard download will remain available from March 28 to May 31, 2025. Candidates can download the scorecard even after the mentioned deadline until December 31, 2025 but they will have to make the payment of INR 500 for each GATE paper.
GATE Cutoff 2025
The participating institutes release the GATE 2025 cutoff after the release of GATE Scorecard on the official website. The cutoff marks of GATE exam will vary based on the various factors such as candidate’s category, GATE paper, previous year GATE cutoff, the number of seats available for admission, marks obtained by candidates in the exam, and the difficulty level of the exam.
Candidates can refer to the last year’s GATE 2024 cutoff to estimate the expected cutoff marks in GATE 2025 exam.

GATE 2025 Toppers List
IIT Roorkee will release the GATE 2025 toppers list after the declaration of GATE result 2025. It will be a branch wise toppers list. This toppers list will include the GATE paper, candidate’s name, raw marks out of 100 obtained by the candidates, and the GATE score out of 1000.
