GATE 2025 Result - IIT Roorkee will soon release the GATE exam result 2025 on the official website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The result of the GATE exam 2025 is scheduled to be released on March 19, 2025 but as per the previous years’ trends, we can expect it to be out one day prior to the official date.
It will be released anytime soon now. Candidates who took the GATE 2025 exam can visit the GATE official website and check their respective results. They are advised to keep a close eye on the website to stay updated of any recent activity about the result declaration.
The GATE 2025 exam was conducted on February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2025 for 30 papers including GATE Papers for Civil Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), etc. The exam authorities will release the GATE 2025 result for all the GATE Papers.
To check the GATE result 2025, they will have to enter their login details such as enrollment ID and password along with the security code. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download their GATE results.
How to Check GATE Exam Result 2025?
GATE exam result 2025 will be released on the official website of GATE exam - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Once the result is out, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check and download their GATE 2025 result:
- Visit the official GATE website - gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
- Navigate to and click on the GATE 2025 Result Download Link available on the home page.
- Enter your enrollment ID and password to proceed.
- The screen displays GATE 2025 Result.
- Download and take a printout of it for future reference.
Note* Candidates must check if the details mentioned on the result card such as candidate’s name, enrollment ID, DOB, GATE paper, etc. are correct. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must reach out to the concerned authority and get these details rectified.
GATE Cutoff 2025
The GATE 2025 cutoff will be released after the release of GATE Scorecard on the official website. The cutoff marks will vary depending on the various factors such as candidate’s category, the GATE paper candidates appeared in, previous year trends of GATE cutoff, the number of seats available, marks obtained by candidates, and the difficulty level of the exam.
Candidates can refer to the last year’s GATE 2024 cutoff to estimate the expected cutoff marks in GATE 2025 exam.

GATE Score Card 2025
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will release the GATE exam scorecard on March 28, 2025. It is usually released after the declaration of GATE results. Candidates will be able to download their respective GATE scorecard starting from March 28. They will have to enter their GATE login credentials such as enrollment ID and password on the online portal.
Candidates will be able to download their GATE scorecard from March 28 to May 31. In case they download it after the deadline, they will have to pay INR 500 per GATE paper.
GATE 2025 scorecard will only be provided to the candidates with more than or equal to the GATE qualifying marks for categories SC, ST, or PwD.
