IIT Madras has hiked GATE cut-off scores for most of its major MTech programs. While Computer Science and Engineering and Integrated Circuits and Systems streams were the highest-scoring streams, other popular streams included Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Production and Industrial Engineering. TheGATE 2025 - entrance test to get into postgraduate engineering courses at the IITs and other premier institutions, started recently. Its first session took place on February 1 and 2. It will have further sessions on February 15 and 16.
The MTech programs offered by IIT Madras are 31 across 18 departments in areas such as Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, and more.
Those seeking to secure an MTech seat in IIT Madras will need to register at the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) after GATE 2025 results have been declared. On the other hand, the results of GATE 2025 from IIT Roorkee are likely to be out on March 19.
