The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has continued to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering i.e. GATE 2025 today on February 15, 2025. The GATE 2025 February 15 shift 1 timing is 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The GATE 2025 exam for Chemistry (CY), Aerospace Engineering (AE), Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA), Environment Science and Engineering (ES), Production, and Industrial Engineering (PI) papers are scheduled to be held in the morning shift i.e. from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the GATE 2025 shift 2 exam is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
IIT Roorkee has also changed the GATE 2025 exam centers for the exam being conducted on February 15 and 16. The change has been announced due to the gathering at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. Now the GATE 2025 exam scheduled to be conducted on February 15 and 16 in Praygraj will now be conducted in Lucknow on the same exam dates.
IIT Roorkee also released the GATE 2025 admit card on January 7, 2025 for GATE 2025 exam to be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. The gate exam is conducted only once a year for admission to Master’s programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.
A good GATE score also helps candidates getting recruited at various posts in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSUs). The GATE Score 2025 remains valid for 3 years from the date of GATE result declaration.
IIT Roorkee will declare the GATE 2025 results on March 19, 2025. The GATE result 2025 will be declared on the official website i.e. gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates who took the exam will be able to download their gate scorecard from March 28, 2025 to May 31, 2025.

The GATE 2025 exam that was conducted in shift 1 on February 1 was moderately difficult. The difficulty level of the GATE 2025 Feb 1 question paper ranged from moderate to hard. Students found the computer science paper difficult. While the paper of GATE 2025 exam shift 2 on February 1 was considered easy to moderately difficult.
