GATE 2025 Cutoff Released by IIT Roorkee Reduced for EE, AE, BT, PH and Increased for ME, XL

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) cut-off 2025. The category-wise cut-off of GATE 2025 and the number of candidates who had registered and appeared for the exams are available on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

GATE qualifying cut-off 2025 has been reduced for electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, biotechnology, and physics papers. GATE cut-off marks 2025 have increased for mechanical engineering and life sciences subjects.

How many candidates appeared for GATE 2025?

A total of 9,36,019 candidates have registered for GATE 2025, whereas 7,47,319 candidates have appeared in the exam. The paper on computer science and information technology had the highest number of registrations, i.e., 2,07,851, and 1,70,825 test takers.

Qualifying cut-off of GATE 2025 is the lowest score that helps one to pass the exam to get into MTech programmes and to be hired by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Institutes announce their cut-offs for admissions separately.

GATE 2025 result was announced on March 19. Rahul Kumar Singh scored the highest in the CSE exam with 100 marks. GATE 2025 final answer key and master question papers have also been released. The examination was conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two shifts.
