CUET 2024 Exam May 16: CUET UG day 2 exam today; paper analysis, exam guidelines

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) day 2 exam today, May 16. The exam began with shift 1A which included the economics test paper. The exam took place from 10 am to 11 am. The CUET UG shift 1B exam, which includes the biology test paper, has commenced at 12:15 pm and will continue till 1 pm today. The NTA will also conduct Physics and Mathematics papers in CUET UG shift 2A and CUET UG shift 2B, respectively.

The CUET UG 2024 exams from May 15 to 18 will be conducted in pen and paper mode, while the CUET UG 2024 exams from May 21 to 24 will be conducted online, in computer-based test (CBT) mode. Candidates must carry their CUET UG admit cards with a valid photo ID proof to the CUET 2024 exam center.

CUET UG 2024: Exam Day Guidelines 

Candidates should take note of the points listed below before entering the CUET UG exam center.

  • Candidates are advised to reach the CUET UG 2024 exam center at least an hour prior to the exam for a hassle-free exam experience.
  • Candidates should carry the CUET 2024 admit card to the exam center.
  • A government photo ID proof is also mandatory (PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, ration card, etc.) to be brought to the exam hall during the CUET exam. 
  • Candidates should refrain from carrying devices such as cell phones, smart watches, gadgets, and personal belongings inside the exam hall.
  • Do not carry unnecessary stationary items such as textbooks, notebooks, etc., and only carry a ballpoint pen for writing the exam.
  • PwD candidates are advised to carry a PwD certificate, if they wish to claim relaxation due to disabilities. 
  • Refrain from cheating by having someone else write the exam for you, or by helping others and taking help from others during the exam.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern

The CUET exam 2024 will be held for a total of 800 marks and the question paper will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct response, and 1 mark will be deducted against every incorrect response. Once the CUET 2024 exam is over, the CUET exam analysis and answer key will be released for all the exams.
