The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2024 today, May 15. The CMAT exam will be conducted in two shifts. Shift 1 is scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm, whereas shift 2 is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm. The CMAT examination allows candidates to be admitted to the management and PGDM programs at the various participating institutes.
It is mandatory for candidates appearing for the exam, to carry their CMAT admit card 2024 to the examination hall without fail. The CMAT 2024 admit card download link is available on the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/. Candidates can download their respective admit cards using their application number, password, and security pin.
CMAT 2024: Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The CMAT 2024 exam is a three-hour long examination, comprising five sections with a total of 100 questions. Candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct response, and one mark will be deducted against each incorrect response. The CMAT exam pattern is listed in the table below:

CMAT 2024: Exam Centre Guidelines
Candidates should take note of the points listed below before entering the CMAT 2024 exam center.
- Candidates are advised to reach the CMAT 2024 exam centers at least 40 minutes prior to the reporting time for a hassle-free exam experience.
- Candidates should bring the CMAT 2024 admit card to the exam center.
- A government photo ID proof is also mandatory (PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, ration card, etc.) to be brought to the exam hall.
- Candidates should refrain from carrying devices such as cell phones, smart watches, gadgets, and personal belongings inside the exam hall.
- If the candidate has to wear a specific attire owing to religious customs, they should arrive at the exam center a little early for necessary checking regarding the same.
- PwD candidates are advised to carry a PwD certificate, if they wish to claim relaxation due to disabilities.
- If the candidate is diabetic, they can bring sugar tablets, and fruits like bananas, apples, oranges.
