The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened the CBSE class 12 result verification window today, May 17, for verification and re-evaluation of marks for the CBSE board exam 2024. Students who are unsatisfied with their class 12 results can apply for verification of marks through the CBSE official website- cbse.gov.in. The verification window is open till May 21.

Proposed changes in the CBSE Grading & Marking Scheme
The CBSE Board announced the CBSE 12th Result 2024 on May 13, 2024. This year, a total of 87.98% of students passed the CBSE Class 12 exam. This year, a total of 16,21,224 students appeared in the CBSE Class 12 exam, and a total of 14,26,420 students passed the examination. Simultaneously, 1,22,170 students aren’t able to qualify and have been placed in the compartment. Students who will be appearing for the CBSE 12th Supplementary Exam 2024 should note that the exam will commence on July 15, 2024. They can register for the supplementary exam through the CBSE official website.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Revaluation 2024?
Students who are unsatisfied with their CBSE class 12 marks and wish to get them revaluated, can follow the steps listed below to apply for CBSE Revaluation 2024:
- Visit the CBSE official website- cbse.gov.in.
- Proceed to the "Examinations" or "Students" section.
- Click on the "Apply for Revaluation" link.
- An online application form will be provided. Fill it out the application form using all the necessary details, carefully.
- Also, be sure to check the important instructions mentioned on the application form and follow them to avoid any errors.
- After filling out the application form, click on the "Submit" button.
- Once the form is submitted, candidates have to pay the revaluation application fee. Candidates are advised to download and keep receipts for future reference.
Also, remember to save the revaluation confirmation page as a reference which will act as proof of the CBSE revaluation request.
